
The Evidence Locker is the official Newsletter of the Colorado Association of Property & Evidence Technicians and is a collaborative effort of all the Board Members of CAPET and is published quarterly. Please direct any inquires about this newsletter or articles for submission to Christy Winger at WINGERCH@ci.colospgs.co.us. The newsletter is only available to members in good standing and is not publicly published on this Web Site.
**Membership Application

An active member shall be employed as a member of a law enforcement agency. An active member in good standing shall have the right to vote on any by-law changes or Board Member elections. Active members shall not lose their active status as a result of retirement or change of assignment provided they remain in good standing. (As stated in the CAPET By-Laws).

Associate membership shall be granted to any reputable person, who does not meet the criteria set in the CAPET By-Laws. They shall, in all respects, be subject to the same rules and fees as active members. Associate members may not serve as an Officer or Board Member and shall not have the right to vote on any by-law changes or Board Member elections.
Membership will include the following:
- Free subscription to the CAPET newsletter sent out quarterly for each member.
Newsletters are emailed to members with email addresses and mailed to those who do not have email.

Each member will receive free admission to the one day Spring Conference (includes lunch). Large agencies may send a maximum of three members for free; additional members will be charged an additional fee.
- Fall Conference updates and information about this exciting event and a discounted conference rate.
